Dusty Control Requests
Criteria
2.1 Ratepayers will qualify for the use of dust suppression products when the following conditions are met:
a. Home is within 150 m of the gravel surface.
b. Road is not slated for paving or oiling within a 3-year projection.
c. Traffic impact on road is significant and recognized as such by the RM Foreman and Council.Significant impact will be considered as a traffic count of 8 heavy loads per day or more.
2.2 If criteria 2.1.a. and 2.1.c. are not met, dust suppression may still be applied with the ratepayer being responsible for all costs for the dust suppression application. Criteria 2.1.b. must still be considered with the Municipal Foreman prior to approval of dust suppression
Cost
3.1 Ratepayers are responsible for the cost and application of the dust suppression product.
3.2 Invoices will be sent and payment is due immediately with interest being charged 30 days after invoicing.
