Everyday Property Standards
Date:

Some of the most visible zoning issues involve everyday property use. The proposed bylaw clarifies rules for signs near municipal highways, sight triangles, outdoor storage, sea or rail containers, parking, domestic animals, lighting, municipal property and site screening. It would prohibit storage on municipal property except for municipal purposes and address how storage and containers may be located or screened. These practical rules are intended to improve clarity and address safety and neighbourhood impacts.
