Proposed Rules for an RV as Accommodation

Where the proposed Zoning Bylaw lists it as a discretionary use, Council could consider one RV as principal accommodation. A permanent dwelling would not automatically be required, and the development permit would not need annual renewal for the same RV. The property would still need to meet siting, servicing and other bylaw requirements, and the annual RV service fee would continue to apply. This proposal is separate from campground development and separate from storing an unoccupied RV. Share your views at tomorrow’s first open house.
