The proposed Zoning Bylaw would simplify the RM’s district structure. Similar Country Residential and Lakeshore Development districts would be consolidated, and separate commercial and recreational districts would be reorganized. The goal is to make the rules easier to understand and administer while keeping standards suited to each area. Simplification does not mean every property becomes the same—it means clearer district names, clearer use tables and fewer overlapping provisions. Review the proposed zoning map and tell Council whether the new structure makes sense for your property and community.
