The Government of Saskatchewan has released updated requirements for Rural Municipalities participating in the Strychnine Stewardship Program.

Here are a few key points for producers and residents:

Strychnine will only be available through participating RMs

Mandatory training is required before any product can be accessed

RMs must verify training, maintain detailed records, and ensure all forms are completed properly

Only eligible ratepayers who meet all requirements will be able to purchase product

Proper storage, tracking, and return of unused product is required

All participating RMs are subject to audits and must follow strict compliance rules

Failure to meet program requirements could result in loss of access to strychnine.
