R.M of Mervin Transfer Site Hours
Summer hours are in effect from April 1st to October long weekend, inclusively:
Wednesdays 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Sundays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Holiday Monday (May to September ONLY) 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Winter hours are in effect from after the October long weekend until March 31st:
Wednesdays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sundays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Recycle Sites are at the following locations:
- Town of Turtleford Transfer Site
- Hamlet of Livelong
- Hamlet of Spruce Lake
- R.M. of Mervin Transfer Site
* If there is any abuse of the recycling bins Council will be forced to remove them. Please do your part to keep our Communities clean!
Please note that Sarcan now accepts Milk Containers for deposit refunds.
Garbage Tags
Only orange R.M. of Mervin garbage tags will be accepted at the Transfer Site and for garbage pickup. These tags will not be accepted at the Town of Turtleford or surrounding transfer sites. Orange tags are $3.00 each.

Tire Recycling Information
At this time the R.M. of Mervin does not have a tire recycling program in place. The below link is information on where you would find a drop off spot for tires and the rules regarding dropping off tires for recycling.
