Full Time Maintenance position

As a member of the park maintenance team your key responsibility will be to ensure the patrons’ safety, security and enjoyment of the park by being responsible for keeping park facilities clean, neat and well maintained. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, some skills that would be considered assets are:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have experience running equipment (mower, trimmers, vehicles, etc.)
  • Must enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
  • Must be comfortable working as part of a team but also able to work independently with or without direction
  • Must have problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to follow proper park policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Should be physically fit (able to do heavy lifting up to 40kg)
  • Preference given to those with electrical, plumbing and mechanical experience

The Bright Sand Regional Park located at the North end of Bright Sand Lake offers “lake front” camping including both electrified and  non-electrified sites as well as several rental cabins.
